The Relevance (Why the course is being taught)

The programme focuses on the training and developing a creative fashion and textile mind. High levels of practical experience are gained through the interaction theory and practical work, facilitated with up to-date technology. (Source: Nkumba University Prospectus 2015/16-2021/22)

Course Entry Requirements

  • Direct Entry; the student should have a minimum of two (2) principle passes in all A ‘level subjects obtained at the same sitting or its equivalent in relevant subjects.
  • Diploma entry scheme; the student should hold a relevant diploma.
  • Mature age entry scheme; the student should have a pass in the mature age entry examinations with at least 50% and must be 25 years and above with a certificate or diploma in any course
