Objectives

The BLIS programme has the following objectives

  • To educate and train students in Library and Information Science
  • To Equip students with knowledge and Skils in managing different types of Information Institutions
  • To introduce students to a qualification sufficient to cater for the needs of staffing of Universitues, other Higher Institutions of learning, Governmental,Non-governmental, and private organixations in and outside Uganda
