The Relevance (Why the course is being taught)

These programmes are designed to prepare professionals and other prospective education students aspiring to become knowledgeable, skilled and competent teachers in the various fields at the level of Secondary Education. The programme content comprises of core professional course units as well as two electives according to the intended area of specialisation (Arts or Sciences). Course Entry Requirements

  • Direct Entry; the student should have a minimum of two (2) principle passes in all A ‘level subjects obtained at the same sitting or its equivalent in relevant subjects.
  • Diploma entry scheme; the student should hold a relevant diploma.
  • Mature age entry scheme; the student should have a pass in the mature age entry examinations with at least 50% and must be 25 years and above with a certificate or diploma in any course.
