Dietetics is a profession which applies the science of nutrition in the maintenance of health in each of the life cycle stages as well as to the dietary management of various disease conditions.Graduates will gain;

  • The ability to comprehend, analyse, synthesize and apply selected theories with a broad base of knowledge from basic sciences and clinical placements to support general practice
  • An understanding of the need to participate in the change process of health care systems across different sectors of population and diverse people
  • The ability to identify problems related to clinical research and to apply findings in order to inform the evolution of evidenced-based practice
